Barrel length 4". Extremely unusual single shot, mid-19th century pistol that features a brass frame and barrel that flares oblong 1-1/2" at muzzle. The 2-1/2" bayonet is activated and locked with rearward movement of trigger guard. Top tang has unusual push safety . Features one piece walnut bag handle that does have a couple of age cracks, but overall, very good. No visible proof or maker marks. First of this type that we've seen.
