Barrel length 20-1/2", 7mm Mauser. Fairly typical Remington rolling block military, single shot, saddle ring carbine. Features: three piece military style walnut stock with carbine butt plate, right side of stock sling swivel as does front barrel band. left side of frame has saddle ring and bar, tang is stamped "Remington Arms Co., Ilion. N.Y. U.S.A. Patented Octr 22nd 1901". It has the small military style folding rear sight with high post front. top of barrel is stamped "CAL. 7mm". All metal is a dull gun metal grey. Stocks are very good with usual military dings from use. Right side of stock has an oval stamp "Uruguay". Left side of stock is carved previous owner's initials "MB".
