Barrel length is 6", caliber is .357 magnum. The 27-2 was introduced in 1961 and was manufactured until 1981. This is the earlier model with the desirable pinned barrel and the recessed cylinder in nickel finish. Other features include the case colored target, hammer, and trigger with adjustable rear sight and silver medallion rosewood grips. The gun is in excellent condition with light drag line, retaining virtually all of the original nickel finish. Comes in a Smith & Wesson mahogany display case with tools and paperwork.
