19th century, U.S. marked blade, shield cannon and flag on guard, Eagle pommel. 30" diamond etched blade. Made by Chicago maker. Blade has minor stains. Pewter grip in good shape with single braided copper wire wrap. Folding guard has patriotic motif. Straight guard has Woodman's emblem on it. Nickel scabbard has light surface rust and is missing one brass ring.
Condition: (Good-Very Good).
