7.7mm caliber, barrel length 25-1/2". This model has the unusual fixed peep rear sight. Manufactured at Nagoya Arsenal. It came without a cleaning rod. Has the riveted type front barrel band. Receiver has the full mum without characters. It has the wooden butt plate with all blued parts. It has the two piece butt stock, short hand guard, separate fore-stock trapped by barrel band. The metal is basically a blue-grey patina. Has the unusual cylinder shaped bolt knob. Numbered to frame. Original finish stock is excellent. This rifle was built with no provision for cleaning rod.
