Barrel length 24". Caliber .30-06. Beautiful all original WWII Remington U.S. rifle as follows: barrel stamped R.A. 8-44 with bomb, left side of stock is stamped F.J.A. (Frank Atwood 1941-44), R.A. (Remington Arms), ordinance wheel, and O.G. (Ogden Post WWII check/test).Rifle is all original containing virtually all of the wartime finish with proper rear sight and stamped parts. Has a mint bore with a zero ME reading. Other than a few very minor stock dings, and some high edge wear, the rifle is about as nice as they come.
