This is one of 100 produced as the Colt Presidential stainless edition .45's. The pistol is basically a stainless steel version of the Colt Model 1911 and features a 5" barrel, semi-automatic, chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. It is all stainless construction with the satin finish and both sides of the slide exhibit the high polish finish. Gun has high profile wind-drift rear sight, lightweight adjustable aluminum trigger, lightweight bobbed hammer, extended beaver-tail safety, and straight serrated mainspring housing. Safety, magazine release button, barrel bushing, and grip screws are gold plated. It has special edition diamond checkered wood grips with the special prancing Colt logo. This slide has gold floral inlays. Top of the slide set in gold reads "Presidential 19-Model 11" with the prancing pony. The gun is unfired in the original box with all paperwork, two magazines and no signs of any drag line.
