Lot consists of five different handmade marbles, including 1 - 1-1/16" Cape Cod glass marble by William Burchfield with exceptional crown filigrana, transparent clear base, and white latticinio core. Subsurface layer is seen twisted ribbons. Each ribbon is purple on one side and white latticinio on the other. It is unsigned (Burchfield marbles are rarely signed). Also includes 1 - 1-3/16" Wald Marble with gold and color swirls. Signed Wald 91 on the base of the marble. Has various colored cane spirals from the center of the marble with a twist of gold dichroic in the center. Also includes 1 - 29/32" Matthews Art Glass marble in peppermint swirl with mica, signed with Matthews "MM" logo, 1 - dark 1-1/2" Jim Davis swirled marble, and 1 - 1-1/2" multi-color floral swirl Jim Davis marble. All marbles are contemporary.
