Caliber 10 bore, Barrel length 32”. This high quality London shotgun features browned twist steel barrels with solid scooped rib and single bead sight. Frame is finished in gun metal grey and features fine scroll engraving with borders. Side plates are engraved with water fowl and marked “W&C Scott and Son”. Top of barrel is stamped with Scott Legend. Hammers are blued and engraved. Walnut stock features fine checkering, beautifully finished, engraved pistol grip and an under lever release. Mirror shiny bores. Tight lock up. For-end uses wedge retainer and has an ebony tip. Gun has been lovingly restored to near mint condition. In addition, this quality London double has a pair of custom Nitro proofed 12 bores with high polish blue finish. Scooped rib. Single bead, with mirror bores. Left barrel is choked full. Right barrel is choked cylinder. Barrel and for-end were custom built to fit this shotgun to enable the user to put this gun back in the field. Barrels retains virtually all the high polish blue finish. Comes complete with a checkered walnut for-end with engraved forearm release. The cost alone to re-manufacture a new front ensemble that is capable of firing modern cartridges to match this original antique London shotgun was exorbitant and makes for a beautiful shotgun set for both the black power and modern shooter.
