Cal 16 bore, Barrel length 29-1/4”. This shotgun was manufactured by Henry Knock of Birmingham London beginning in 1770. Given the time frame that this shotgun was built it was obviously converted to percussion and there is a crack in percussion block and missing one nipple. Barrel and plates have been refinished and now are a chocolate brown patina. Hammers, side plate and tang are engraved. Checkered walnut one piece stock with rollover cheek piece. Stock has been refinished. The trigger guard is engraved, finished added. Double wedge for-end with a German nickel engrave finial. Ram rod is secured by two thimbles. Smooth steel butt plate, double triggers. This gun was refinished long ago probably at time of conversion.
