5" barrel in caliber 11.25. These pistols were manufactured in Norway under Colt license from 1917 to 1933. This example is dated 1926 on right side of slide. This is a very close copy of the Colt 1911. The left side of slide is stamped "11.25m/m AUT. pistol M/1914". Has two Norwegian acceptance stamps on left side and has matching serial number on slide, frame, trigger, safety, slide stop, barrel, recoil spring guide, barrel bushing, firing pin retainer, firing pin, hammer, magazine catch housing, and internal frame rail. The only part not numbered to gun is the recoil spring plug, which is number 812. Has the original, proper Norwegian magazine with lanyard loop and distinctive cut on right side, and proper diamond checkered grips which are not numbered. All metal parts are blued, retain at least 95%-97% original finish with light high edge wear. Grips are excellent. Barrel is blued with excellent bore and stamped with matching serial number. Comes with the original capture papers dated November 1945, listed as "1 Belgium Pistol Cal 45 No. 11783". Comes in proper Norwegian unmarked tan holster with brass hanger.
