Caliber is 7.92mm, Barrel length is 21 - 1/2". Standard World War II issue semi-automatic rifle with the "duv Berlin - Lubeck Machine Factory", left side of frame is stamped "G 43 duv 44" with Waffenamt stamps, number 8603. Bolt is also stamped 8603. Bottom of stock is stamped 8603. Right side of stock has two Waffenamt stamps. Magazine is stamped "aye G 43" with Waffenamt stamp. Has the original leather sling, with adjustable rear sight to 1200 yards. Bolt cover has Waffenamt stamp and electro pencil 8603. Has the laminated stock with ventilated handguard. Gun is in excellent condition, retaining 90% factory War time metal finish, stock is excellent to near mint, no cracks or chips, all original finish. This desirable rifle comes with a copy of the original capture papers, noting rifle by serial number, dated April 26, 1945. Extremely fine condition, all original, matching numbered G43 with the scarce duv factory (standard model had ac code). Fine bore and action.
