24" barrel in 7.92x57mm caliber. Offered is a standard World War II issue Mauser military rifle. Has the SVW45 code (German Ordnance code assigned to Mauser-Werke). Barrel is stamped 44N217. 2644 on receiver, bolt, and safety. No numbers on stock, but has "H" inspector stamp. Has the aluminum cupped buttplate. Triggerplate is stamped SVW. Floorplate is stamped with byf and Waffenamt stamp. Waffentamt stamp on left side of barrel and receiver. Laminated stock. Retains the majority of the late-war military finish. Lack of polishing and exposed welds typical of these late-war rifles. Strong bore and action.
