17.63" barrel in 7.65x53mm caliber. Rifle has the Argentine coat of arms on bridge. Serial number on right side of frame, barrel, bolt. Magazine is stamped "4862". Front band is stamped "36/56", second band stamped "72". Standard carbine with fixed bayonet lug front band, sling swivel middle band short military carbine sight, walnut stock with small handguard. Stock has two expertly plugged repairs at wrist, expertly restored 4" long patch at heel, and has a coat of added finish. Right side of stock is stamped "7072". Carbine retains 95% of a period reapplied blue finish. Fine bore and action.
