19" barrel in caliber 6.5mm Japanese. This carbine was manufactured at the Chigusa factory, Nagoya Arsenal. Has the inverted V front sight with guards, open V rear sight to 2,000 meters, full royal mum with 'Type 38' characters, two piece buttstock with full length handguard, knurled safety with smooth sides and small tang indicator, plum bolt knob, and matching numbers. Wood is very good to excellent. Frame retains approximately 90% original factory blue finish, barrel and bands thinning. Fine bore and action.
