25" barrel in caliber .303 British. Brass buttplate with two sling swivels. Right stock band is stamped "MA Lithgow SMLE II 1942" and right side of stock "MA Lithgow SMLE III HV 1943". Bottom of stock is stamped "Australia" and has a period sling with steel frogs. Front of forestock is stamped 68325 with inspector stamps. Has a two piece stock and handguard. Standard military sight. Metal is a mix of blue-brown patina. Stocks are very good. Excellent bore and action.
