3-3/16” barrel in caliber .22 rimfire short. This revolver was manufactured from 1868 to 1881. Features tip up ribbed round barrel, seven shot, single action, spur trigger, birds head rosewood grips, blued finish, and case colored hammer. Frame retains approximately 90% of the original high polish blue. Cylinder and barrel have flaked to about 50%. Lovely case colors on hammer. Near mint grips. Cylinder does not index. Strong clean bore. Comes in a period wooden box and a copy of a Smith & Wesson book.
