27-1/2” barrel in 20 bore, 2-3/4” chamber, top barrel choked improved, bottom barrel choked modified, 14-1/2” LOP to front trigger. Manufactured 1947-1964. Referred to as the “ASE Model in 20 bore”. This shotgun features the scalloped box lock with automatic ejectors, full matted rib, single bead, sling swivels, with straight grip checkered English style walnut stock with a black hard rubber butt-plate. Barrels are blued and retain approximately 90% finish with age freckling. Bores are mirror. Frame is high polished steel with light border engraving. Walnut checkered for-end with engraved metal hardware in near mint condition. Stock is excellent with no cracks but has areas of finish loss near butt-plate and needs some minor attention. Trigger guard has high edge blue wear with freckling. Lock-up is tight.
