26" barrel in .30-30 caliber. Offered is a standard Marlin Model 1893 rifle with lots of original condition. Features full round barrel; full magazine; German silver knife blade front sight; Marlin sporting leaf rear sight; case colored frame, hammer, and lever; and walnut stocks. This rifle has the rifle type buttplate. Barrel and tube retain approximately 95% original factory blue finish with razor sharp edges and legends. The frame retains approximately 90% plus of the original case colors, most of which is still brilliant with much original varnish. The frame screws retain the majority of their factory blue finish, as does the loading gate. Nice color on sides of lever. Tang is stamped "Model 1893". Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal with no cracks and only the usual minor abrasions. Forearm is stamped with a rack No. 72. Buttplate has turned patina. Action is perfect. Strong bore. Even the forend tip retains approximately 80% original blue finish.
