The first gun is a Marlin Model 97 lever action rifle in .22 rimfire with a 24" barrel. Standard takedown model with full octagon barrel. All metal is brown patina. Stocks are very good, slightly shy to metal, with a Marlin composite buttplate. Perfect working order. Poor bore. Great for parts or restoration. The second rifle is a Beals patented 1866 brass frame tip-up single shot boys rifle. Features a 24" part round barrel, caliber is .32 rimfire, strong barrel legend, brass frame, under lever, nickel plated brass buttplate, and walnut stock. These are very scarce rifles made by Remington-Beals in the 1870s. Barrel is all brown spotted patina. Very good brass frame. Under lever is brown patina. Has two wrist repairs with hairline cracks at tang. Fine operation. This rare gun would be worthy of an expert restoration with special attention to the stock repair.
