Barrel length is 41”, bore diameter is .41 percussion. Offered is a Pennsylvania long rifle with a percussion lock manufactured in Albany, NY. Rifle has a full octagon barrel that was stamped with maker at one time but no longer readable. Has three brass thimbles with re-placed rod. Missing rear barrel retaining wedge. All metal is dark brown patina. Stock is checkered at wrist, has brass trigger guard, butt plate and toe plate. Typical small cheek piece with a shield thumb rest. Tang does not meet barrel, and sits outside stock and needs fitting. Has a lovely brass patch box. This is a typical attic find never cleaned long rifle.
