.38-40 WCF caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured 1887. This fine Winchester was special ordered with round barrel and button magazine. Front sight is a period globe front sight, rear sight is a Winchester sporting model. Barrel finish is a mix of brown-grey patina. Left and right side of frame retain approximately 70% original factory blue with high edge wear. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with only a couple of minor dings. Fine action. Strong rifled bore (bore does have a ring 6" from muzzle).
