.40-60 caliber with a 28" barrel. Manufactured 1881 to 1892. Standard features include full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, replaced sporting front sight, original sporting rear, walnut stocks, and curved steel buttplate. All metal surfaces are a clean soft brown patina. Walnut stocks are original with original finish, proud to metal, with no cracks, just usual wear. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. This is a lovely example of what an attic-found untouched honest gun should look like.
