Both rifles are Type 99s in 7.7mm caliber and with 25-1/2" barrels. Both are missing the cleaning rods but still retain the royal mum. Neither has the aircraft sights. Both have pistol grip two piece walnut stocks with handguards and metal buttplates. Metal parts have the military phosphate blue finish. Fine working order and excellent bores. Both have the cylindrical shaped bolt handle knob with the plum bolts. All metal is basically brown patina. Wood has lots of small dings. One has a period canvas sling.
