7-1/2" barrel in .45 LC caliber. According to the Colt Factory letter, this was one of three guns shipped to Camfour Inc. in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 15th, 1956. It was a standard blue and case colored single action with the black Colt composition grips. Revolver shows virtually no signs of any wear. No visible drag line. All original brilliant finish. Screws are perfect. Mint grips, bore, and action. Assembly No. 931 on frame, loading gate, and cylinder. Revolver is housed in an original black box, the type used from 1940 through 1959. There is no end label on the box, nor is there any residue where one may have been removed. Box does have some wear on edges. Comes with the original warranty card and manual. Would be impossible to find a nicer example of this first year post-war Colt.
