4" barrel in 9mm caliber. Manufactured in 1939-40 by Mauser for the German military. Chamber is dated 1940. This pistol has all matching numbers except the magazine which is simply stamped "S42" with Waffenamt, has an aluminum bottom, and was manufactured by Heinel. Checkered walnut grip panels have several inspector stamps but no serial number. Toggle is stamped 42. Several Waffenamt stamps on right side of barrel and slide. Grips are near mint. Pistol retains about 99% of the arsenal reapplied matte finish.
