This pair of porcelain figures, a lady and a gentleman, are donned in the garb worn during Napoleon's reign. The gentleman looks in one direction while the lady looks in the other and they stand in opposite stance - One arm bent with the hand on the hip while the other dangles to the side. Both figures have dates written into the porcelain of their bases, the gentleman's dated 1792 and the lady's is 1793. These dates are written near their feet. The gentleman also has A.B. and the artists signature written into his porcelain stand as well. The lady, solely has the artists signature written onto her stand. The artists name is not completely legible. Crazing can be seen all over the figures. The stands also have damage, such as chips, cracks, nicks and scratches.
