6-1/2" barrel in .44 Russian caliber. These streamlined single action top breaks were very popular when introduced. This revolver features six shot single action blue finish, case colored trigger guard and hammer with checkered walnut grips. Revolver still retains approximately 20% of the brilliant high polish blue with the balance gun soft brown patina, walnut grips are excellent, lock up is perfect, strong clean rifled bore. Factory letter confirms all of the above and notes that this revolver was shipped on August 18, 1887 and delivered to Takata and Company, Yokohama, Japan. Agents for the Japanese Govt.
