5" barrel in .38 Special caliber. Often referred to as the Heavy Duty Model as it was a .38 caliber built on the larger N frame. Features blue finish, half moon sight, six shot, double action, square butt, and silver medallion diamond checkered post-war magna grips. Revolver has matching serial numbers on yoke and cylinder. Proper era-style original grips, not numbered. This revolver has seen some carry use. Grip straps are a grey-blue patina. Cylinder is thinning on flats, barrel thinning on sides with overall high edge holster wear. Excellent grips, perfect action, and strong bore. Factory letter confirms all of the above and lists shipment on March 17, 1954 to Richard & Conover, Hardware Co. Kansas City, MO.
