26" barrel in .32 Winchester Special caliber. This beautiful rifle was manufactured in 1902 and features the special smokeless .32 Winchester Special rear sight only available for this model. In addition has a special order smooth steel shotgun buttplate. Also has a special Beech folding globe front sight. Standard features include full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks, and case colored hammer and lever. This rifle has survived in superb all original condition. The barrel and tube retain 95% original factory blue finish with razor sharp legends and edges, with a few minor age freckles. The frame shows high edge wear all around and is toning to soft patina near breech, but still retains 75% of the original Winchester high polish blue finish. Bolt retains 95% original high polish blue finish. Loading gate has 60% of the high polish blue finish. Nice traces of colors on hammer and lever. Wood is excellent with a couple of very minor impressions but has the extra finish hand rubbed sheen with no cracks or chips, and is proud to metal. Even the buttplate has traces of original blue. Very strong rifled bore. Extremely clean, high condition, handsome special order Model 1894 rifle. Comes with an original two piece box of Winchester ammunition.
