5" barrel in .45 ACP caliber. Manufactured 1945. Standard World War II Remington Rand with nearly all of its original military matte finish. Left side of slide is stamped "Remington Rand". Slide is stamped "G" at firing pin and shows only minor light high edge wear with razor sharp legends. Left side of frame has "F.J.A." Frank Atwood inspector stamp with proof "P". Has the Keyes star stamped brown composite grips. All correct small parts to include short checkered trigger, spurless checkered hammer, serrated arched mainspring housing, checkered safety, serrated slide stop. Blue barrel stamped "H.S." for Hi-Standard. Near mint bore. Perfect action. Pistol retains 98% of the military matte finish showing nominal use or wear. Comes with a Boyt 1944 holster, canvas belt, and magazine pouch.
