19-3/4” barrel in 6.5x54 mm caliber. This is the first of the true full-stock Mannlicher rifles. Features single trigger. Made in Austria. Receiver bridge is stamped “M1903”. Has the butter knife bolt handle, scarce Lyman adjustable rear peep sight, two leaf folding rear sight, sporting front sight (no hood). Early models were not configured for front sight hood. Pistol grip full length checkered walnut stock with rollover cheek piece, and serrated steel butt plate with trapdoor. Barrel, frame, and trigger group retain approximately 90-95% original blued finish with balance thinning. Stocks are very good to excellent with no cracks but usual minor impressions. Fine action. Strong clean bore. Lovely little 1903 Mannlicher.
