12 bore with 2-3/4” chambers, 26-3/4” blued barrels with vent matte rib and twin beads, both barrels choked to skeet. Barrel marked on right side “NICKEL-CHROME STEEL NITRO-PROVED ABERCROMBIE & FITCH” and on left side “I.A.B. di G. ZOLI & C. GARDONE V.T. MADE IN ITALY”. Casehardened scalloped boxlock action with distinct stripe pattern, tooled and engraved breeches and borders. Bottom engraved with I.A.B. logo. Features: ejectors, non-automatic safety and single gold-plated trigger. Pierced blue opening lever, blued safety and blued trigger guard, engraved on bow. Fine varnished Circassian pistol grip buttstock with engraved panels on each side of wrist and Decelerator black recoil pad. LOP is 13-1/2” to end of wood stock and 14-1/4” to back of recoil pad. Drop at comb is 1-1/4” and 2-1/4” at heel. Checkered forend with push button release. Button with engraved and gold-plated crest. Includes a black hard plastic case with combination lock and partitioned French blue velour interior with I.A.B. label, includes manual for lock. Accompanied by two framed Griffin & Howe Factory letters confirming the model, specs, and configuration of this shotgun. It was manufactured in 1969 and sold on June 11, 1975 by Abercrombie & Fitch to Gerard E. Heyen of New York, New York. This was one of only two I.A.B. Model Tiger Skeet’s that were received and sold by Abercrombie & Fitch. Excellent condition, shows very little use. Barrels retain nearly 100% blue finish, some very minor scratches on marks from forend, perfect bores. Action retains 98% case colors with a few light scratches and storage marks. Stocks are excellent, with a few light storage marks. Case is excellent with some fading to interior.
