Hand-carved wooden Native American Indian from the mid-19th century stands tall with one hand extended, holding a bundle of cigars. The other of the arms is held close to its body, hand in a fist, missing what it once held. Shows wear consistent with age. The paint shows craquelure and fading of color. There are vertical cracks running through the piece; most notably on the right side of the tip of the feathered headdress to the toes of the paw, and from the belt to midway down the skirt. Beautiful example with great finish and patina. Has had some early well done professional repairs. Believed to be carved by Robb.
Condition: (Excellent).
