This lantern was manufactured by Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company. The lantern consists of a cast iron base and has a metal half cover and top. The cover and top are embossed with a floral and swirling motif and have a handle on either side. On the base of the lantern and the area around the glass, there are several stamps and embossing noting the different patent dates. These patent dates range from 1893 to 1896. The lantern is approximately 38-½” tall.Overall the lantern is in good condition, with tarnish and wear visible. There are some small dents to the lighter metal. The glass has a chip and crack towards the rim.
