Appropriately dressed in a vintage boy styled dress with apron, he retains what looks to be his original blond mohair wig. The facial expression gives the illusion that he just about to speak, with two molded upper teeth, a hint of a tongue in his open/closed mouth. His bisque coloring is excellent, having painted dark grey/blue eyes and finely detailed lips. On a fully jointed composition body which is in very good original yellow finish. The bisque head, marked K*R 112 43, has no wig chips but at the rear above the size number (43) there appears to be an imprint of a finger nail, possibly from when a worker pulled the head from the mold. This is not a damage, not a crack, not a firing flaw just an impression! Overall a very nice example with light scuffing to cheeks.
