Overall length 6-3/8", blade length 3-3/4". Circa 1860. Double armed handle in the unique Dufilho style. Signed on the haft on one side "Dufilho N. Orleans" and stamped on the back side of the haft with Dufilho's touch mark. Top arm handle is ebony, and separator and bottom arm are beautifully mellowed ivory. Reinforced blade with medial ridge. Some loss to the blade on each side due to heavy sharpening. Minor pitting with some medium pitting in spots. Some black staining to the blade. German silver scabbard with button at throat. New Orleans style tie-down tip.
