Manufactured in 1888, second year of production. Standard features include full octagon barrel, half magazine, sporting front sight, tang rear sight, one piece checkered walnut forend, walnut butt stock, and Colt black composite butt plate. This gun has been expertly restored to near new condition. Barrel legends are sharp as new, sharp edges with 99% rust blue on barrel, tube, and frame with the only appreciable wear to rear of dust cover on top of frame from friction. Wood is excellent as restored with no cracks or chips. It will need some minor mechanical attention, as the hammer does not stay back when pumped. Strong clean bore.
