Brass two-stage blunderbuss barrel with turnings at muzzle British view and proof marks; marked “DUBLIN” on top flat near breech. Military flintlock lockplate marked “TOWER” at tail and with a large crown over “GR” in the center. Brass furniture including engraved trigger guard with acorn finial. Buttplate engraved with flower and acorn finial. Oval brass wrist escutcheon and ramrod furls. Replaced walnut stock. Good condition, as redone. Barrel excellent with some patina and sharp markings. Lock retains a pitted brown patina relined flash pin with some losses and proper but replaced reinforced cock. This lock needs internal springs replaced as well as a new thumb safety and cock screw. Barrel tang screw and lock screws also replaced. The stock is a contemporary replacement and has large areas without finish.
