Blued steel barrels with solid concave matte rib with two white beads and extension; right barrel marked "STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" and other barrel marked "MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A.". Case hardened boxlock action stamped "STERLINGWORTH" on both sides and having rocker panel engraved borders. Ejectors; automatic safeties; double triggers. Highly figured varnished walnut pistol grip stock with deluxe checkered panels on each side of action and wrist; black pistol grip with leaf decoration and white line rubber buttpad; highly figured beaver tail forearm with large shaped checkered panel. Good condition as restored and refinished; barrels retain nearly 100% of re-blued finish with some wear to breech engraving and markings and a screw on underside of rib near muzzle; some light rust at muzzles. Trigger guard has been cleaned and re-blued and shows some wear. Action mostly grey patina but shows some areas of bright case colors in protected areas. Stocks excellent with forend showing a 1" crack stemming from checkering into action.
