Offered is an early long tang Model 71 deluxe manufactured in 1936, the first year of full production (four made in 1935). This is a standard deluxe model that features the pistol grip deluxe checkered walnut stock with checkered steel buttplate, checkered walnut forend, deluxe sling swivels, bolt peep sight, and blued finish. Features a full round barrel with ramp front sight and hood. Half magazine. Rear sight slot has a filler. Barrel, tube, and forend cap retain approximately 97% original blue. Cap is turning patina. Frame retains approximately 85-90% original factory blue with some gun metal grey showing through from carry and some light age spotting. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, and retain the majority of their original finish. Fine bore and action. Exceptionally clean and nice first year Model 71 deluxe.
