This rifle was manufactured in 1956 (production ended in 1958). It is a standard model in all respects. Features full round barrel, ramp front sight with hood, Winchester sporting rear sight, half magazine, blued finish, walnut stock with pistol grip and no checkering and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Rifle retains nearly all of its original factory blue with the exception of some wear on hammer and some areas of storage wear on frame, still 97% with exception to some wear on loading gate. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, all original finish, with the usual minor hunting dings. Strong bore and perfect action. Extremely fine standard grade Model 71.
