Blued octagonal rifled barrel with unique rear sight which slides forward or backward on mount adjustable from 100 to 300 meters. Left side of barrel stamped "8,15x46, NORM." Case hardened signle shot lever operated falling block action marked on top "HAENEL-ORIGINAL-AYDT". Left side with safety lever and left side of block mark "ORIGINAL / SYST. AYDT / 19367"; double set triggers and lever with finger grooves. Iron mounted walnut target stock with checkered wrist, thumbrest and formed cheekpiece. Plain Schnabel forend with small silver tombstone shaped plaque on bottom inscribed "C Wielert". Very good condition; barrel retains about 80% blue mostly turning to plum patina with scattered areas of rust; excellent bore. Action retains approximately 30% case colors, mostly turn to spotted brown patina. Stock is good with scattered mixed dents, chips and scratches, with some losses to finish.
