Manufactured 1919. This early Browning patent magazine fed semi automatic pistol is referred to as the Military Model due to a square butt and a left side lanyard ring and features factory blue finish with Colt logo black composite grips, spur hammer and original magazine stamped "CAL. 38 COLT". Gun has survived in phenomenal all original condition, there is some high edge muzzle wear, the front gripstrap exhibits some light patina mixing with high polish blue as does rear gripstrap and high exposed edges. This pistol retains approximately 95% of its original high polish factory blue finish with razor sharp edges and ledges with a near mint bore, perfect action, and extremely nice example of desirable of early Colt automatic pistol.
