Manufactured in 1882. Round barrel and full length tube magazine. Large frame, lever - action receiver marked "MODEL 1876" on tang, walnut buttstock with steel crescent buttplate and forend with steel end cap. Good condition. Barrel and tube magazine retain a brown patina with some areas darker than others, some edgewear around muzzle, and scattered scratches and marks from use. Action retains a gray patina with some screws slightly marred and scattered marks from use. Hammer retains some silvered case colors and brass block unpolished with good caliber markings. Stock and forend with some losses to finish and show heavy use. Bore is corroded but has clear lands and grooves.
