Mills Novelty started making these machines in 1900. The Palmer Cox "Brownies" were the best known cartoon characters at the turn-of-the-century. Their images are on the lithographed tin wheel and cast iron, 5-way coin head. The oak cabinet has beautiful beading details. This machine has an excellent original tin litho wheel. Back door is a replacement. Four keys are included.
