This is the World's Heaviest Dumbbell that was lifted by Harry Good who was the owner of the Good Barbell Company. Harry would lift this dumbbell at certain events around the country. Included in this lot are numerous original photos and photocopies with hand written letters from people that owned the barbell that were trying to sell it. The barbell itself does have some paint loss and oxidation. It is an extremely unique one of a kind piece.
CORRECTION: Harry purchased this dumbbell in 1929 for $110 from the world famous Coney Island strongman "Warren Lincoln Travis." (Documented cash sale).
