Manufactured by FN of Belgium and sold on contract to Luxembourg. "AL" stamped above chamber. Matching bolt number. This is a gas-operated semi-automatic rifle with fixed sights and ten round fixed magazine. This model was introduced in 1949. Features a black enamel finish at 80% overall, military sights, pistol grip walnut stock, single barrel band with swivel. No visible import stamps. Stock is excellent with black rubber buttplate and sling swivels. Luxembourg contract in .30-06 is an extremely desirable rifle.
