Referred to as the Model of 1953 .22/32 Kit gun. Has the pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, target adjustable rear sight, round butt, factory nickel finish, six shot, double action and Smith & Wesson silver medallion checkered grips. M serial range began in 1969. Strong, clean bore. Perfect action. Very good grips. Retains approximately 95% original nickel. Wear on backstrap, some storage marks and a few minor spots on the barrel. Not collector grade but still a good shooter.
