Barrel features matted rib, flip up rear sight, bead front sight, gold borders at breech and stamped "E. HILI" on right barrel "HADAMAR" in gold on left barrel. Bores shiny but do have pitting. Condition of barrels is basically a blue-brown smooth patina. Boxlock frame is unadorned, gun metal grey. Walnut checkered forend has a Deeley release. Features double set triggers, horn adjustable palm swell, checkered walnut pistol grip stock, presentation metal grip cap with gold initials. Buttstock has a four cartridge holder with lid. Stamped "DRP" at bottom of tang (Germany). Wood fits very closely but slightly shy to metal. Black composite buttplate. Wood stocks have been beautifully refinished and re-checkered with roll-over cheek piece and sling eyes. Very handsome German drilling with some unusual features.
